About Us

The Rancho Blended Learning Program is a middle school program under the umbrella of Rancho Learning Center.  In addition to the Blended Learning Program, Rancho Learning Center has several programs including Rancho High School 9-12 Independent Learning, Home Independent Study 1-8, Opportunities Program 7-12 and the Online Learning Program K-8.  All of these programs are housed at the Arcadia Education Center.

The Rancho Blended Learning Program is a small, strong community, blending online independent study and real-world skills through learner-centered inquiry.

Core content will be completed independently by students using the Pearson Connexus program. Time will be given in class to work on this core content with a teacher available to answer questions and encourage assignment completion.

The remainder of the school day will be dedicated to whole-child education where we will strive to develop empathetic students who utilize their strengths to solve real-world problems. 21st-century skills such as critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and communication will be explicitly taught through project-based opportunities.

There are 3 flexible options for families interested in the program including a 1/2 day, full-day, and hybrid program where students travel to a comprehensive site in the afternoon.
