Independent Study Program - In-person (Grades 1-8)

Rancho's In-person Independent Study

Who

This program is targeted for students that can attend in-person classes, but cannot attend daily due to personal reasons. This program is only available for grades 1-8.

What

Students will be assigned curriculum by their supervising teacher. The curriculum will meet appropriate CA State Standards. The teacher is responsible for monitoring student academic and evaluating the master of assigned content. 

When

Students will engage with their supervising teacher based on a mutually agreed upon schedule. Minimum attendance of one day per week is required to participate in this program.

Where

Students can access the curriculum provided by the supervising teacher and daily engagement opportunities from anywhere they have internet access.

How

Students' curriculum will be tailored by the supervising teacher.

Students will have the opportunity to engage with their teachers daily using Google Meet.
